We are entering our slow season, where showings start to slow down and we fall off into holiday shopping and home shopping takes a back seat. The biggest thing we see is sellers not getting the activity they were getting in the summer, which is normal. Seller’s start questioning, “what they should do?” Here are a few things we would recommend. Pricing is key, adjusting the price to seasonal changes is vitally important. Next checking, are there any projects or painting that need to be done? Is your home Q-tip clean and decluttered and lastly, do you needing, staging or staging tips? Obviously you want to adjust price if you can and painting is the next biggest priority. If we can stress anything to sellers right now, “paint your house”. Don’t give the excuse that you don’t know what the buyer is going to want for paint colors. That’s our job and we can help you with that. The buyer is going to want something that’s trendy, in style, all the paint stores know what’s the most common colors. So that’s our tip to our sellers. Make sure you have painted or have neutral paint colors, then watch that price and make sure you’re adjusting to seasonal changes to sell faster.
